What is the Lost Guard of Tor Anroc?
We are the premier roleplaying High Elf only guild in Warhammer: Age of Reckoning. We are one of the oldest guilds in the game and were established a year before the game was released, participated in the Closed Beta and have grown rapidly since launch. We currently have our guild on the Karak-Norn server

What is so special about Warhammer: Age of Reckoning?
Quite simply: RvR. This stands for Realm vs Realm and pits two sides against each other, but within that settings there are three standoffs between six races: High Elves vs Dark Elves, Dwarves vs Green Skins and Humans vs Chaos. As a result, each race is attempting to defend their homeland, whilst aiding their allies at the same time.
Realm vs. Realm (RvR) gameplay means you will never fight alone, but as part of an army of allied players sworn to defend your homeland and conquer enemy Realms. Your every action-every quest completed, every battle fought-contributes to the war effort and can turn the tide of battle, bringing victory to your Realm! As a result, in-game you will find massive battles between the two sides, much akin to a medieval battlefield.
Why are you a roleplaying guild?
Warhammer has an enormous depth and breadth in lore that has been gathered for over decades. This makes the game even more interesting than an ordinary MMORPG as there is history behind everything that you see in the game. To us, this is really important and we wish to add to that dimension by staying as much in character as possible. Needless to say, as High Elves this makes us somewhat arrogant, aloof and quite clearly convinced of the superiority of our race.
We are convinced of our superiority because we are. We are not arrogant, we're just better than everyone else.
So, do I have to roleplay?
We range from quite ardent roleplayers to people who are very light on this. We cater for both and everything in between. Our guild chat is a mixture of everything, but when we talk to the outside world we encourage our members to stay in character where possible. We don't enforce anything of course, as long as our members are happy.
Why are you a high elf only guild?
As explained, in Warhammer the Order and Destruction sides fight each other but each side has three races that fights its mirror race. The epic battle of High Elves vs their fallen cousins, the Dark Elves, is one of these. We felt it would be more interesting to create our guild around this struggle, even more so as it adds more dimensions to roleplaa.
So does this mean you don't fight in other realms?
Quite the opposite! We aid our allies, the Dwarves and Humans, wherever we possible can and are known for responding at lightning speed to Call to Arms requests. We know that the fates of men and High Elves are intertwined. If the Empire falls to the Ruinous Powers, Ulthuan will be next. And to that effect, we must defend the Dwarven land as well as they are at the sharp end of the fight.
Ah, I see. So are you allied with other races?
Yes, we very much are. We are one of the founding members of the Conclave of Light. This is an alliance between various Role-play guilds, both single and mixed-race guilds. We share an Alliance chat channel in-game which helps us to co-ordinate attacks, and we often organise events together.
In what tiers do you play?
We play in all tiers (i.e. tiers are ranges of character levels), but many of us are in T3 and T4 these days, participating in the campaigns against Destruction on a daily basis. Having said that, a good number of our guild are still in the earlier tiers, so you will never be alone!
Which servers do you play on?
The Old World Chapter plays on the European Karak-Norn server.
Are you RvR focussed?
We are very much a RvR guild, but our members range from hardcore to a lot more casual. It is our aim to field guild-only Warbands in due course and claim keeps in T3 and T4, but at the same time we also encourage a relaxed playing style as many of us want to explore the lands at their leisure.

The first step would be to register on this website, if you haven't done so already. After that's completed, go to our forum and make a post in the Recruitment board. Or contact one of our members in game! Once you've posted there, one of our members will respond and, if your application is successful, explain you how to join us in-game.
What if I want to play another race as well?
Unfortunately, our guild is High Elf only. But, within the Conclave of Light you can easily join one of our allies and, therefore, still remain part of the larger group and stay close to us. In fact, various allies are members of us as well as they play High Elf classes as well besides their main.
